The InLight (in its self) is a style of Encouragement that encourages others on their journey of purpose by showing them more of God in a simple way from every day life happenings. The InLight messages have an enlightening effect (like a parable) that brings awarenes to a truth and with the truth the reader/listener is able to bring their life out of the darkness and into God's light so that they may contine on their journey.


 The InLight has 3  main characteristics:

They are enlightening, urge you to move forward into the things of God and carry the presence of God. 

These characteristics are derived from the name/spelling of The InLight: 

1. InLight: related to the word enlighten (which means to make understand, give insight or make free from confusion or ambiguity, make clear) this part of the name represents the enlightening messages that are shared with you 
2. The In-Light: with you being able to see clearly from being enlightened, you are now able to move forward in God and therefore your life will come out of the darkness and In to the Light.
3. The InLight: all revelations are inspired from the light that is within us: Jesus            
   The InLight carries the light of Jesus; the Holy Spirit; presence of God within.

Our Heart: 

The heart of The InLight is to know more of God (His ways, His thoughts, His characteristics, His presence); to move beyond the rules and rituals of religion and enter an intimate place with our heavenly father and creator to where we trust him in any situation; therefore operating in total obedience unto Him. In encouraging you on your journey of life, we desire to keep your heart totally back to the heart of God and help you to live the life you were called to live in Him.

Who Are We: 

The InLight represents all those who desire to and allow the light of Jesus to shine outward into everyday life situations. This group of people seeks to make a difference in this life while keeping their eyes set on the next. With God as their first love, they are filled with His Holy Spirit and allow His spirit to flow through their gifts, talents, callings into any given situation.

How Started: 

At the end of 2004 Monica declared-- “I refuse to be in the same place this time next year". She didn't necessarily mean physically but spiritually. She would not continue to live her life out of God's best will but rather would begin to take her place in his kingdom for there was a part of her that hungered to know more than just the natural. One day after this decision, the power went out at her job and she was able to see the “silver lining in the cloud” that she was now able to do work that she normally did not have time to do. From this, she sent out her first message to encourage other workers. After getting several responses that the message blessed others, Monica rounded up friends/family/ co- workers email addresses and began to send out weekly devotionals with other messages of how God encouraged her. In 2006, she felt led to go from weekly to daily.  As she continued to follow God, He began to bring divine appointments into her life (wonderful people that confirm His love, grace, mercy and power) and she wanted to continue to offer God given support to all those that came across her path so that they too may know God.
